How offten do you re-fill ACD fluid? I just noticed that ACD fluid is on MIN. I own my car for five months whcih I bough brand new. Is this normal? Thanks all.

 

Do you check it when the car has been sitting overnight.Because after driving the fluid will read low.After the car has been sitting for a while after driving the fluid level will come back up to full.This is normal.

 

Be careful when you check the stuff the system uses it when cornering. On mine with driving through the mountains I started actually hearing the pump with the widows down and the fluid got lower but that was with spirited driving. Check it in the morning before driving anywhere and see where the level is.

 

Thats a good point. I drove the car for few miles and then I noticed it when I stopped to wash my car. I guess I will check in the morning before taking off to work.

Thanks all. This is true, I checked mine this morning and it was on MAX. O well, learn something new every day.

 

If you do ever need to fill it you can use ATF SPF-III fluid just for future reference.
