Coolant temperature sensor swap...
I'm going to install an aftermarker coolant temp gauge so i can get some actual numbers rather than just high, low, in the middle, etc. There is one sensor for the ECU and another small sensor for the gauge cluster. The one for the gauge cluster is not tied into the ecu, so i'm just taking it out and replacing i with the aftermarker one. My question is has anyone done this or know if the threads will be the same or if I need an adaptor? the autometer one has 1/8 npt threads on it. I'm kinda hopin for a quick response on this one, If i dont hear anything by 5 i'm just gonna buy an adaptor. probably 1/8 bspt t o1/8 right? Do they even make those?

As it turns out it is not an NPT thread, kinda suspected that from the start. I ordered one of those 42 draft thermostat housings with the bung already welded on...if anyone cares
Here just do this, its a really nice piece, inexpensive cost me 40 bucks. And it looks stock. Here is the link.
