turbine blades are probably torn up.

 

so what was the cause of the original problem... the stumbling on the old turbo you sold? UTEC?

 

It is not the old turbo, as the guy who has it is having no issues. He even had a small spike to 2.2 bar.

I am thinking it was the utec, maybe needed the firmware reloaded. I don't really know. I put the stocker back in and bought a hallman. It is running fine at 1.3 bar. Boost drops off (probably the exhaust blade issue).

 

What is the "V" band in the photo?? I dont know what the area of concern is. never had to look at the turbo that close. can you circle it? Thanks.

 

v-band is not in the photo. It would be the part that holds the hotside to the center section.
