knock link

Install is straight forward and I like the product. Vivid seems to have the best price.

We use it and it's not cheap. Comes with its own knock sensor. Visual warning, but does not interpret what the ECU considers knock.

How would you rate its effectiveness? Will this interface with the stock knock sensor since it can be purchased without it's own sensor.

I was looking for somthing like this. I want to use something that just uses some type of warning lights (on the dash) instead of carrying a laptop with me everywere I go, I thought I seen something like this once before, but now I can't find it , it was accual readings from what the ECM would see.

I bought mine w/o the dedicated knock sensor, so ended up hooking it up to factory knock sensor wire, behind the glove box. Overall it's an easy install. I mounted it above steering column right in the middle between lower edge of tach and fuel level gauge, w/ double sided 3M tape(the spongy backing stuff).
