Well I would definately go AMS 50trim if I could afford to freshin up the motor some.. I've got 50k miles on my stock motor.. although It's in great shape and has been well maintained.. I just wouldn't feel safe.
Right now I just want to get the car running.. I've paid two car payments now with no working car.. kinda frustrating :P

so have you replaced the damaged maf?
be 100% certain that all shrapnel has been removed prior to install, look into the plenum, i/c pipes, stuck in bov, in front of the cat if your running 1, etc = everywhere.
it looks like the comp wheel blade tipes broke off for whatever reason, overspeeding or a balancing issue would be my guess.
good luck with the new turbo & I am certain that you will have people asking you about teh butt-dyno performance differences.

I've checked everywhere for metal.. there was a bunch in the air filter and same with the IC.. I flushed both out really well.. everything has been cleaned up since the tear down.
I didn't think about the BOV tho I'll check it out as well.
I have a new MAF but it didnt come with a honeycomb.. so I'll probably have to buy another one but for now I'll try w/o the honeycomb in it.

Haha.. I didn't get done last night because I didn't have enough coolant to fill the radiator
The install was totally done within a few hours but I kept getting sidetracked by girls... I'll have her out later today for sure.
I'm not sure how good my butt dyno will be working... I've been driving a truck for a month now so it may need recalibrated
