Buschur Racing ready to"Attack"
The T2 track record is 1:38.439 set by Don Knowles at last years Runoffs. T2 cars can now run DA shocks with external reservoirs with stock springs. We run 100 unleaded. The SCCA was nice enough to add another 100 lbs. to the Evo last month.
Good job at your first road event Dave.

And thats a fact.
And regardless of what you guys think is fast and what isn't fast, the fact here is the new Buschur car ran right at the top of the list that weekend. Comparing their times to times on an old, thoroughly rubber coated, minus a chicane setup... is just rediculous. Its sole purpose is to cause a war here.

AFAIK, they have full interiors, you can only balance and blue print the engine and use a flash for the ECU (no piggy back, no stand alone). You also have to use 93 octane gas as specified by your manual. You use the stock valvetrian and block. You use the same size battery in the same location. Same intercooler and piping. You use the stock suspenion. Only a catback may be used, no dp and you keep the cat.
So a T2 car pulling a 1:38 and Dave's car pulling a 1:37 is no compliment to Dave's car. But I agree with you, that this is the first time for Dave's car on the track and it will only get faster.

Go back and read what I wrote. I never compared it to a T2 car. The T2 analogy was brought up based on the time of 1.37 and someone thinking the T2 time was faster then that.

do you meen mid-ohio?
and yes... but MID-OH wasnt "broken in" .... it was broke up!

Keeping on topic, for the cars that raced that day it appears that the Buschur car was at the top of the field and there is no questioning or arguing that
