I believe I spoke with Smokie the first time and he said that wouldnt be a problem. I then called back a second time to confirm the appt a week later and spoke with the gentleman who worked on my car when I came down and said that it was noted as no charge in the book. See where I am coming from?

How were you checking your afr ? Wideband ? How do you know if your wideband was accurate and mine was bad ? The car left with our wideband reading mid to low 11's. Yes mine could of been bad .. very true as could of yours. Hence the reason i told you no charge to get it back on the dyno and look to see whats going on. Now you come down with a front mount intercooler on the car.. Think of it from my perspective and understand that if you had brought the car as i tuned it previous ..there most certainly would not of been a charge. You added a power adder to your car and wanted a free tune. I charged you 150 dollars which in my mind is more then fair ..

Yes it was the same wideband that was in the car when you tuned it the 2nd time. I would find it very hard to believe that a brand new sensor would be bad especially when it was reading correctly at idle, ~14.7 At this point Mark it's a mute issue. Maybe you personally didnt know what would be on the car when I arrived, but that's not my fault it would be your teams for not telling you. To set the record straight im happy with the 2nd tune as the car feels much better. I just wish things would have been handled differently.

I also got my ems tuned by Mark. It seems that its however the car starts, some days it will idle around 10.xx or 11.xx, than some days it idles around 13.xx. I just thought it was what it did. And with cold starts (does the same idle thing) it just needs to warm up some before it feels like it won't stall out. Figured thats how the aem ran.

All of this isn't a problem for me, everything is good, car runs fine. AFR is good at WOT, in the low 11's.

This is my first time reading this thread.. I can assure you that nothing leaves our shop ideling at 10.7 afr ... at idle... Had you gotten a response stating that yes i tuned your car .. then by all means there is merit to your post... Until you have that confirmation i dont think our name should be mentioned at all .. esp in a neg way

User name of person who use to own the car is KwMan (real name Kyle Whittington) who is on this forum. I have the map saved on the laptop at the shop who tuned my car, which I haven't had time to email you. I am not meaning to rip on your tuning ability. I am just saying what was in there and who I was told tuned it. I can email you when I have time. My life is kind of hectic right now.

I have to agree with Mark

The new breed of wideband 02 sesnsors have become much cheaper than even a few years ago but at the same time I have seen a HUGE void between how they read

I have seen even the same kind of AF gauge differently with two different sensors even with a new free air calibration

Most of the time I just use widebands to note the reaction of a/f at various rpm points and loads and disregard what the a/f read out is telling me, I prefer to use my judgment and other data log data than rely exclusively on a cheap sensor

When I do my traveling dyno road show I have to laugh at some of the a/f print outs I see at some of the dyno shops - many of them don't even know how to properly operate their dynos

Sadly the customer mentaility takes what ever is printed out on some page as the GOSPIL and relys on it as if it was obatined by Moses himself
