The largest turbine housing available for the TD05-16G (bolt-on for VIII turbo) is the 10.5 cm²?

1.6 boost level was the turbo’s limit with the temperatures it generates at 6000 RPM which was the designs limitations.

for a evo 8 yes port that lil sucker and it will treat ya right

I've had a stock 8 turbo 10.5hs, fully ported 8 turbo 10.5hs, ix turbo (come 10.5hs) and now a green on my car. I'd say for the cheapest upgrade go directly to a ix turbo or just port the 8 turbo if you can do it or have someone do it and the one I had on my car was ported on the turbo outlet part as well as the intake side and ported 10.5hs on it but if you've got a chance to grab a ix turbo for cheap then snag it
