Sounds like the CV is dead on the pass. side, but it only does it when turning left. Car only has 17k on it could the axle already be toast? I doubt I can find a dealer that will waranty the axle with this thing so modded. Any ideas what it could be?

 

Clicking when turning usually is the axle 9/10 times. Id check it out, I bet thats it.

 

I know it sounds weird but a freind of mine got the ticking when he made left turns, later found out that he had crank walk.

 

can you "feel" the click or just hear it? it may be something as simple as the plastic in your wheel well rubbing on your tire.

 

Can u get it on a lift? Run the car in the air w/wheel turned left. It's usually the outside one that clicks and u should be able to hear it.

 

could be a tranfer case as well.

 

i was going to say CV, but it could be a lot of things. I'd take it in and get it looked at if I were you.

 

By friends 06 sti makes a noise when he turns the wheel all the way to the left as well. Of course when he brought it to the dealer to have it looked at, it didn't make the noise.
