Still looking for a Short shifter for my MR?

anyone know if anyone is making a short shifter yet for the 05 (and I would guess the 06) Evo MR? with the 6 speed?

Websites would be cool.

i would not buy shorty shifter ,,,,,,,,it doesnt really help going faster at the 1/4 track.....i think it depends on the driver.... anyway we got crappy transmission ,,,,

Evo Police, yes, they will only do it in-house. They have to modify the stock shifter, so it's not something they can or are willing to "ship."

Yesevo, I don't know if I've ever seen you say something that made sense. Short-shifters are very helpful, and the shifter on the MR is very long and cumbersome. It's like a bus shifter...

isnt the works shifter a short "throw" shifter. it only shortens the throw but not the actual lever arm. i think they said the actual shifter is the same length but the throw is shorter.

^Is this true, if so could it be possible to shorten the lever yourself? War is right, the evos lever is big. I kinda like it but I want a short throw for functionality. My buddy has a short throw with a titanium stop plate(or whatever its called) so he can just smash it into any gear, I love the feel of it soo solid.
