Stock Clutch?????

How long do these things usually last? i know it all depends on the driver i don't really drive it hard, never really drop the clutch out of the hole but on ocassion i open her up on the freeway and stuff. i have about 2500 miles and getting dyno tune May 14 just little worried.

As long as u don't launch the car and drive it pretty normal each day u should be able to have it for a while i'm guessing 20k + miles depending on how many times u go wild with it =). I know a guy that had stock clutch for 36k miles and he launched it a few times. Once u get ur tune u may be more tempted to really see what the car can do so it is all on you =)

It will last a long time if you're at stock power levels and don't launch. Considering you know how to drive.

No launch + good driving skill = long lasting clutch in most cases.

Id say with Very conservative driving youd get 30k out of it.

45K miles out of the stocker with hard street driving, and only a few launches. It was still holding fine when I pulled it out. I've got all the basic bolt on's plus cams and TME turbo.

The big factor here is driver. Don't ride the clutch and don't sit a lights with the clutch pressed in the whole time. Take care of it and it will take care of you. I had 26K on my 03 when I traded it in and it felt like new. Auto crossed a few times and went to the strip maybe 10 time. Good luck at the DYNO.

If you truely drive like you mentioned below, you should get MANY miles out of it. I have 60K miles on mine. I drive like you mentioned below. In addition I have been to Gingerman (track) three times. Also there are two times (I recall them vividly) when I really burnt the crap out of the clutch (being a dumb ****). Mine still drives like a champ.

Completely dependent upon driver, # of launches and power your car has. Some people with less power than me ruin it in 5k miles. Im at just about 50k on the stocker.

I have 53000 miles and a 35R. My car makes close to 500 whp. Im still on the stock clutch. It holds very well. If I launch however, it slips a bit. The stock clutch isnt as bad as many think...
