I took a sledge hammer to the bar and also widened the bolt holes. This resulted in a customed bent crossbar that furthermore provides equivalent torsional strength to stock and superior strenght to a rig with added washers or spacers

 

I have both cusco v1 and v2 and they fit fine with the perrin downpipe, I reused the spring bolts to bolt it to the turbo.
