fsu - I've had a similar experience with HKS 280 cams. I ended up using ECUflash to bump up the idle target RPM values (there are several of them) and it hasn't stalled or idled too low since. Download the software (it's free) and take a look at the parameters.

BTW - which clutch to you have?

Yeah, ive since increased timing, the idle stepper values and the target rpm and it's MUCH better. EcuFlash FTW!

Stock clutch.

Can you take a screenshot of your idle stepper values? I'm curious to see what you did with these.. I've got a similar problem.

deja vu here, just had my cams put in saturday and same thing. But my idle kind of surges and I got the check engine light after being on the dyno. I reset the ECU and it has not come back, but only driven 20 miles. Scott @ TTP who did the install said at high RPM's I may have a small boost leak and reccommended new plugs with a different gap. I will be trying these this week and see if things improve.

Sounds like a very similar list to FSU.

1. Change to BPR8ES, gap to 0.022
2. Boost leak test car. (high pitch whistle at WOT points to leak)
3. EGR system issue. Lines appear to be intact however.
