competition clutch???

competition clutch???

i just went to the local mitsu and was given a competition clutch that is brand new for free and i was wondering if nebody knows nething about them??? it is a 6 puck clutch and has the pp and a stock flywheel and i was wondering if nebody knows how this clutch stacks up aginst other clutches. also if it is a street strip,cerametalic,organic,trq capacity??? ne info would be great thanks.

What are you talking about? If its a 6 puck its obviously not organic. Ive never heard of it and neither has my buddy who also owns an evo.

Is it a "Competition Clutch"?... or a "competition" clutch? Maybe if you could clear that up, you might find some help. And I doubt anyone would consider a 6 puck "street". If you don't find any help/info, why not install it and let everyone else know since you got it all for free. Laters.

i am asking to be sure b/c i saw it was a stage 4 clutch and i was figuring it was cerametalic. the only website i saw said it was a new clutch so im askin b/c i didnt see ne stats on the site.

sry about that LV but yes the name of the company is (competition clutch) and the logo is a backwards c and then another c. they have 2 clutches for the evo one falls around a street stage 2 at 325.00 and the other falls around a stage 5 "iron man" but the disc i have is a stage 4? well i hope this helps the ppl that know about this clutch help me a little more.

The owner of Competition clutch use to work for clutchmasters and broke off and started competition clutch. The clutches work fine for hondas, I have used the twin disc on a honda and it worked fine for a long time, Have a few friends that use there normal pressure plate and 6puck holds fine also. This is a honda though so not sure how it would work on the evo.

i hear that cerametalic clutches wear out quicker but hold better wat do u think its a 6 puc and pp and i have a stock flywheel wat do u think about this clutch for the street?
