IX Exhaust Cam Question

Ok, i have an evo IX with almost every bolt-on there is and a mail-in flash, now I am thinkin of gettin a n hks exhaust camshaft and cam gear, now i don't know too much about cams, so my question i without getting retune, how much whp can i expect to gain, and which set should i get (272,262,280), i usually use as daily driver and sometimes i take it out to the track, i like that make a difference that i can feel.

if you do the cam and gears you should get a re-tune to get the most out of your upgrade

You won't get anything with just adding a cam and cam gear and no retune, and you certainly don't want to add those and set the cam gear to anywhere besides 0 without a tune. That wouldn't make any sense. Also, even with a retune, we've seen no proof of a single exhaust cam making a noticable difference on a IX. I think you'd get more from a custom flash (road tune or dyno tune) than from $500 spent on a cam+gear.

Yea, it seems that the IX isn't benefiting from the exhaust cam - especially from our dyno day.

I didn't see any Dynoflash case studies that showed gains SPECIFICALLY from the cam. The IXs make incredible power on their own. Which one did you see? Also, where do you live? You don't have your location filled out.

I was going to try it , I don't see how it could hurt. People mix up there durations on there 8's, so why can't we on our 9's

Many people have and haven't seen noticable gains. TT saw noticable gains on a GT35R-equipped IX.

Sorry bro but it will be an after.
I was doing everthing at once.
My local dyno is a 2 wheel, and Buschur is my closest 4 wheel, but he is an hour and a half away.
Buy the looks of the searched thread you posted, most wanted picked up 15 to 20 whp. So I am thinking it can't be a bad thing..... how could it
