I have had mine on for 5 months...No problems whatsoever! Now I never have anything turned on with the car off...Ever, but it has never been anything but perfect.

trickle chargers are incredible. My dad used one on his stock battery on his supra during the winter when he didn't drive it, and it lasted him for 10 years

That's funny. I've had no issues with my Odyssey battery which is over a year old and went through a NE winter. What experience do you have?

GSC battery tray is the best ive seen.

I have not seen the Buschur battery tray yet so I can't comment on it. I have the Nisei unit and it is very high quality. The ONLY thing I could think of to improve it (and I am surprised more aftermarket parts manufacturers don't pay attention to this) is that the little screws that hold the top plate on are not stainless steel. They are just regular black tool steel. They rust very quickly.

I'm glad to hear someone else thinks they are junk. I've personally installed 3 of them and none of them fit for ****.

I'm surprised their aren't more people yelling and screaming(the ones that ride Buschur's nuts.)

I know Nisei Engineering has 2 battery kits available. If you get the Genesis kit which is the Higher end of the 2 it comes with all stainless hardware. If you have the UBC kit it does not come with stainless hardware.

As you can see the Genesis has the stainless top bolts.

UBC not stainless you can see the black bolts.

There is a difference in price though. I think the UBC is about $45 bucks cheaper. So, I guess the difference is you get what you pay for.

If you guys want more info you can take a look at:

buschur battery kit looks like total crap. I'd be embarrassed to put something like that on my car. but then again, none of their parts give off a high quality look.

Looks are 100% subjective. A battery tray does not make power.

It also has a lot of sharp edges that look like they could chafe the wiring harness that rubs the tray. I expected a lot more from Buschur for $225.00.
it would help if you could post some pics. I'm sure buschur would work with you to fix it.

there are some sick looking billet trays out there, but too expension. IMO I can't justify paying $200+ for a $65.00 battery and peice of aluminum.

A thread was posted a while ago with dimensions to a DIY sheetmetal tray... thats more my style

Nothing some high gloss spraypaint, stickers and a bodykit can't make up for.
