how many of you have ATP's turbo set up and what kinda of power are you guys putting down?

most on here try to stray away from them. The proprietary turbine housing they use chokes up the exhaust flow causing slow spool and power compared to other kits.


Other kits in that price range to look into would be the Buschur turbo kit. However if it were my car I'd save a lil more money and go w/ a TurboTrix or AMS kit, depending on how much power and what sort of turbo your looking to go with.

 

Since you're local to Vishnu, check out their stage 2 kit.

Im making 340 whp on 91. The spool isnt as bad as everyone says. Im getting a full race manifold and a meth kit, I plan on putting down 400 whp.

 

I just sold my 3071 kit to a guy locally. He has all of the supporting mods and comp 272 cams. He put down 331 on 93. He also put down 280 before the kit.

I put down 353 on a 10.5 hotside and meth. That is about 1/10 the cost of a turbo upgrade.


Yes, Vishnu exists. Shiv has been making the rounds tuning. I would look at Vishun V500 (stage 2).

 

Well just to put it in perspective, another evo with a tme, br ported o2 and mani with 264/272 and a tuned by shiv xede, on race gas, put down 340 on the same dyno.

 

With manifold and meth, people have been putting down 400whp on STOCK turbo! Not sure what these turbos really have to offer if the stockers are keeping up with them.....
