Different Clutch in IX?
Is the OEM clutch in the IX any different than in the VIII? Do they share the same clutch?

from wat i have heard they changed the clutch b/c of ppl killin them but im not 100% sure

I traded in my '03 Evo 8 for an '06 Evo 9 MR. Totally different experience from the drivers seat... but mechanically I don't know what changed.

Same pressure plate is used on them. The disc is different for noise reduction but same friction material. Mike at RRE posted on this a while back with some nice pics.
