evo ix gsr clutch pedal feel vs evo ix mr

I went to the dealership and I sat in the MR and was going through the gears. I noticed that the clutch on the MR feels heavier than the regular IX gsr. Any differences in terms of clutch feel, short throw, long throw,heavy,light...etc.

Info!

I actually asked AMS about the clutch on my IX MR and if it should be upgraded. They told me that the MR has a slightly heavier duty clutch than the regular Evo's come equipped with.

mr has shorter throw, smoother shifts and a smoosther clutch engagment(longer dampening springs on clutch) other than that clutch "weight" is identical....

Drove a friend's MR 9 at a road course and I thought it was much easier and lighter than my 04 gsr. I didn't think it was heavier... much lighter actually. I'm on stock clutch as well.

I did think the 6spd was much smoother and generally nicer with the shifts. I got a WORKS short throw on mine but still not as smooth as the MR.

I've owned both. The difference is nothing to write home about. Both provide a decent amount of pressure and the people who notice it the most are coming from stock hondas or stock VWs.
