Throw out bearing issue

Just did a clutch install everything looks to be fine, when you go to pull the clutch fork towards the drivers side it doesnt stay locked in that position it goes right back to the passenger side. What can i do to get it locked so i can but the slave cylinder back on????

Maybe try pusing a little harder to get the TOB to clip into the pressure plate? Good luck.

for anybody who has this issue...............it was the little circle piece that sticks out of the clutch and attaches it self to the TOB when its engaged (sp) that piece fell out of the clutch. MAN next time im going to double check EVERYTHING, a thing that takes 2 seconds to fix cost me about 3 hours.

I did an install a while back, everything went smooth till trying to put the tranny back on. I kept knocking that ring off the clutch.

It took me forever to finally get that in. Too bad I missed this post I could have mentioned it and saved you time.
