solid clutch fork after trany install

ok well i spent the entire day putting my trany back together and putting it back in my car. what happened was my wedge collar got bent up and i installed a new one. trany went in relatively smoothly and when it came time to lock my throwout bearing it poped in smooth and locked in place. my problem is that when i push the fork towards the passenger side to pull the throwout bearing and pressure plate it is solid as a rock. i resurfaced the pressure plate and flywheel with a new act 6 puck. can anyone help me, i have no clue what the hell is wrong...

When you installed the throwout bearing did you check if the clutch fork was able to move back and forth before you put the tranny back in the car?

yes, it was also greased very well. it moved freely till locked in the wedge collar and after that only moved towards the pressure plate squishes the wave washers like when you positioning the throwout bearing to be released.

so what youre saying is you cant push down the clutch pedal? because you deffinately will not be able to release the pressure plate by hand.

prior to removing my trany i was able to move it by hand and no the clutch peddle can be depressed but doesnt feel right. feels like your forcing the slave cylender against a brick wall, but still can be depressed.

Clutch

Have you tried driving it yet? Was the fork moving freely before you popped it into the collar? I changed mine out recently with a competition 6 puck. I remember it feeling the same way but I took it for a test ride and everything was fine, well at least until my master cylinder rod bent because I didnt lock the jam nut but thats another story.
