Tuning.....Alky + Race Gas?

Hey guys, I have an 03 evo with the current mods..... tbe, wr turbo, ported exh mani, ebay 02 housing, helix piping, 272/272 cams, cam gears, arp head studs, 255 walbro, aem intake, and mbc. Im going to get dyno tuned/flashed at AMS next week at 26/27 psi with 100 % meth. I was wondering..... since my local gas station sells 110 octane gas...... Would it be safe if i could get the car tuned with 50% meth/ 50% water in the alky kit PLUS 110 octane.... and tune at 29/30 psi. And when daily driving, just use regular 91 and turn down the boost to 24 psi? Any other options? Parts i should get before getting tuned to maximize power? Thanks

I did some more research and it seems i should concentrate on my 93/alky tune first since my car is a daily driver then dump in some 110 and boost up alittle on track days. Any input?

That would certainly work, and be safe. However, you don't get the full benefit of race gas if you can't lean out and add timing to compensate for the different characteristics of race gas as well as take advantage of it's higher resistance to knock. It will work though, and the majority of the power gain comes from the added airflow that higher boost brings.

Although now that I think about it, on that turbo at 24 psi there is not much airflow to gain at higher boost, except in the midrange perhaps. My ***umption is that there will be minimal power gain at higher boost with race gas. If you do try this, make some passes on the pump gas at 24 psi, then swap to the race gas and turn up the boost and see what happens to trap speeds. And post the results, of course.
