To my knowledge you cannot run the DSM ignitor and coils on the stock ECU. The only reason I am saying this is becuase you can't alter the dwell settings to match the DSM or 300M coils. I am not saying it wouldn't work at all but I just don't know how good it would work or if it would even be worth a shot. This doesn't mean that someone might make somthing to achieve this either, I just haven't had the need to reserach any further. My system still works flawlessly and I don't plan on changing until I do a complete work over change on everything.

 

do you have this setup on the stock ecu?

 

I have the DSM ignitor, 300m coils, coil on plug plates for coil mounting, high output MSD boxes complete with ignition cut, rev limit, stutterbox, ignition retard and security.

No I run it along with the AEM EMS so it handles the settings that need to be changed.

 

Have you been able to run these items to create a coil on plug setup to be used with the stock ecu?

 

Is there a reasonable way to do this with 4 Evo Coils?

 

Yes on multiple evos. All have which have run 11's on meth injection and stock turbo with this setup.

 

I have the full 1st gen ignition system that i can sell. I have the ignitor/pigtail for ignitor/, coils, and boots. Let me know if anyone needs anything!
