could my tranny be doomed :(?

Heres a lil background:

clutch went out trying to launch, my bro decided to do a clutch change on his own,

cool, i tought, might save on some $$$, anyways, i got a stage 3 clutch from

action clutch. Dropped it in, put everything back, and it ran fine for like 2 days.

Then we noticed it was leaking oil, gear oil. We thougth nothing of it, and went on

driving. Next day as i was driving, i started hearing some noises as if i was

dragging something..odd....next thing you know, the car refuses to move at all.

Like if the handbrake was on, but it wasnt; tranny was full with oil, had filled it

with oil an hr before.

So i am here to see if anyone can help. Im willing to pay $$ for work to be done, i

need this car to go out and stuff.

I am in Los Angeles California, if anyone can help, im like 10 mins from downtown

LA.

So let me know friends.

look for cracks on the transmission case if you lost all the fluid

no cracks, its leaking from where the tranny meets the differential

that leak is from the tranny fluid. there is a hole at the bottom of the tranny. check the clutch through that hole and see if something happened to it.

I have been doing research on the whole clutch install process lately myself. Just from all the threads that I've read on here it sounds like you might be missing the o-rings between the transfer case and transmission. Here's a thread I found about it...
