Catch can question

I've had my Weapon R catch can for about 8 months and whenever I drain it (every oil change) nothing comes out. I mean even the drain plug is bone dry. Nada. Both lines have taken on a rich brown color (they were clear). Just wondering if anyone else with a cc doesn't "catch" anything. It's installed correctly BTW

I have a DIY one and I've had it one for about 5 or 6 months now and it has very little to no residue. The lines that I used aren't clear, but I'm assuming that it's just oil residue in your lines.

2 months running and still no oil in catch can.

I guess it means the motor is breathing well.

coloured lines indicates "stuff" coming out. the reason you are not catching nothing because there is no "condensing media" in your catch can. The "stuff" aka oil vapors go in one tube and comes out the other.

on my catch can(jam packed with SS turning), the tubing leading to the catch can is dark, but the tubing after the cc is clear.

Search for SaiKou Kun, he has posted a lot regarding this.
