They will work but you will have to grind down the bell housing. This is the evo 850's part number FICEVO125-8504. This is the one for the eclipse FIC125-8504. I guess this guy that sold those thought they are the same.

I put PTE 1000's in my car a few weeks ago. They had the bell on them. I simply removed the o-ring that was on them, put on the stock rubber insulator piece, and stuck them in. They work fine.

yeah i did put them in but was really worried that they're not held in place tightly enough? or that the o-ring would be under too much stress and crack

i appreciate you reading the thread, but his pics show no bell.

They should fit no problem at all. Give the guys a call, the CS was good for me.

After taking a close look at the last picture I agree with WarmPepsi. I dont see any bell on them. They do look like the right injectors. Can you see if there is a part number on them?

back-from-the-dead bump 'cause i had the same problem. i bought "evo FIC 850cc injectors" from a member here. i bought the FIC intall kit and arranged the o-rings/isolators as follows:

first, here is the kit i bought with the pieces numbered:

i stacked the green and black o-rings as listed (#2 on top of #1) on this picture but did NOT use the isolator labeled with the red arrow (#3). should i?? i also replaced the brown isolator, shown by the green arrow with the FIC piece, which is #4 from the picture above.

after reading this thread, i have concern because my injectors look like these (bell tip):

so. from what i need to read, my first problem is to just grind off the bell part of the tip?? it's okay to reduce the length of the metal part?
other than that, are my rings/isolators right? i ask because my isolators keep coming out of the manifold. here is a picture installed:

and here is a picture after driving:

can anyone help here? i'd greatly appreciate it. there is no stickers on the injectors but on one side is etched "FIC" then "125-850" on the other. thanks in advance. these injectors are the second part i've purchased from members here and they are wrong or can't be used. i end up eating the cost rather than passing them on to another unsuspecting member. it's frustrating. i just wanna drive my car.

what confuses me is these evo FIC 850s have the same bell tip:

The above picture looks like the lower seal isn't seated right.
When I had my FIC's and their Viton seals, I swore there was no way they were gonna go in too. Put the lower seal into the manifold runners first. Just lube it up a little, line everything up, and "walk the injectors" down and into place when you install the fuel rail (two bolts). Keep everything straight, tighten the left bolt one turn, tighten the right bolt one turn, back and forth, back and forth. Give the injectors a little twist now and then so the O rings and seals don't get pinched. FIC's seals are tight as fu(k, but they will not leak and will last forever. They will go in.

aight. for anyone searching for this info and finding this thread, but not getting any answers, here is what all i found out:

verified: we do NOT use the injectors with the bell-shaped ends. as mentioned above, they will not fit into the intake manifold.

they do fit if you machine off the end. the spray pattern does not seem to be affected as my fuel trims and tune are as they were before.

i sealed up the end of the injector i was working on to keep junk out. i then sanded the "bell" off and polished the end. it took me about an hour to do it right and 'cause i'm very meticulous about stuff like this.

it came out very nice. here are some pictures:

before and after:

all sealed up to keep junk out:

how i fixed the injector:

and how i finished it:

it turns out i use ALL the isolators and o-rings in the kit:

all done and ready to go.

i can do the same for anyone else for a small fee.
