hello people

i purchase fic 850cc injectors from a member on the forum. these one he sent me has the bell housing on the bottom of the injectors and the stock o rings looks like it doesn t fit. when i bought theses he had pics of the injectors still installed and looks like a perfect fit. but when i got and install them it didn t fit the same. he might of sent me different ones. the part number is fic 125 0850, i look it up and its said its made for dsm and evo.

just wondering if i can use these.

do they leak fuel when the car is running? if not your fine

when i installed them was running fxxx up. kept stalling out when i drive it or sometime when i start it up. i am getting it tune Wednesday and wanna make sure its because i need a tune and not because the injectors wont work for the evo. want to avoid any extra fees to setup a tune for nothing.

 

going from stock injectors to 850's is going to cause the car to run like crap.
as long as your not leaking fuel anywhere you should be okay

 

They should be fine if they arent leaking fuel or boost do a boost leak test to comfirm. Also i would order the FIC seal kit as they are the best hands down and they seal diffrent then the oem ones they seal one hump higher on the lower portion of the injector and use two orings on the top side.

 

yea i had a boost leak thats whats make m think they didn t fit. order the fic seal kit lets see what happens.
