grinding gears

grinding gears

my 3rd gear grinds and I cant be without a car. I need to bring it in but if i just skip 3rd when shifting how long will i be able to hold out.

forever. till 4th starts to grind. skiping gears dont hurt nothing.

Having to skip third sucks - I have been there. Just save up the money for a rental car and get it done. If you can be patient enough save the money and get it rebuild by someone who is going to do it right. TRE.

dude you have a IX mitsu should provide you with a rental car if your car needs to be kept over night. Mazda always did when i broke **** on my msp
