U am a bit precautious running 23 psi. its out of ignorance related to fear. If I knew more about the limitis of the materials in the engine first hand I would run more.

As for the BR exhaust, Im happy to hear that there was a change to remedy the looks. With the magnaflow, I like it..

Considering I am working a second job just for mods, I want to buy ONE exhaust for the next car. I was even entertaining the idea of the APS 3.5" for the sake of big turbo use.

Any MBC that works I find adequate, albeit some more than others....TurboXS makes some fine units, but overly complex. The Forge unit is perfect for my ideals, but recomendations welcome.

Also considering that I have an unused two stage MBC sitting home, I can use that, custom tune it and run the higher stage of tune........look at me rambling. There are several options but for the sake of not doing too many things twice over the upgrade path (my problem with the first evo, buying impetuously then selling the parts bought at a loss) I want to eliminate that lack of forethought.

Warr-dont take this the wrong way, but for once, its been a pleasure talking to you. I'll catch up with you tommorow.

Oh and incidentally, I am curious what your deciding factors in buying an MR over a GSR were, to see if I can relate to any, as Im yet undecided on which I will be ordering upon the sale of mind.

Opinions if you will, Im aware of the factual information associated with both. Night

soo if you get a mail in tune with a stock evo ix and later down the road you get an exhaust do you have to get retuned. Right now i would like to stay as stock as possible but the modding itch keeps comming to me.

Just get a flash. At the very least you'll get some better gas mileage out of it along with around an extra 30-40whp

I'm not Clay, but I chose and MR over the GSR when I bought my IX......so here goes.

Only Con was the price difference. Pros where

BBS wheels
HID's
Bilstiens
6 speed

The wheels and HID's alone were reason enough for me. Bilstiens, 6 speed, gauge pack, zero lift kit where all just icing on the cake IMO. Not too mention they where more willing to deal on the MR as opposed to the GSR which they would not budge on the price.
