Please explain to us, Miguel, why on earth you need 4 threads about your exhaust leaks?

This is absolutely pointless!

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=206649
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=205792
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=205518

Try to keep all of your similarly related problems in one thread. There is NO justification for cluttering up this already cluttered forum with even more useless threads.

No, he didn't directly ask how much power he was losing, but he inferred to being curious about it in the last sentence of his original post:

As though he expects us to respond to the comment with our opinions on how much power he MAY be losing.

Just fix the leaks, Miguel, and spare us your redundant threads.

I posted a virtually identical comment in one of his other threads, asking him to stop posting new threads about the same topic.

He hasn't replied in that thread since, but what does he do instead....

..... started another new thread.

Brilliant!

Let this be a lesson on those who opt for the Megan manifold instead of porting/coating the stock manifold like I always suggest.

However, if it's less than a year old, Megan should replace it under warranty. If it's over a year old, then oh well.

On blah, how many people are running ANY tubular mani and dont have a problem? Fact of the matter is 99.9% of them are going to crack at some point , thats how tubulars are. They are not as strong as the cast piece. Any one with any common sense knows this. Do what works for you on your car AS I ALWAYS SUGGEST.

Sorry, Miguel, but how did you forget that you already posted the same topic 3 times already?

That's a lame excuse when the very title of one of your threads is "Another exhaust leak....", eluding to the fact that you already have another thread discussing a leak of some sort. Gimme a break.

How can you act surprised when this is the third post on this subject?

Sorry to get a little overzealous.

At least everything is in the same place now. Thanks go out to the moderators and their efforts.

I have to agree with others....if you have a tubular style exhaust mani. you should have it in your head you will need it repaired eventually and it shouldnt come to a surprise either. They just arent as durable as cast manifolds.

Let this be a lesson to what?

If you ride around with a tubular header with missing bolts, missing bolts in your O2 housing, wrap your tubular header with heat wrap, remove your weather louver from your hood and let it rain on your glowing manifold you may or may not experience an issue? Hardly conclusive results based on one case.

Let me add that his flange is warped from riding around on 3 bolts and a leak.

Let me also add that I have not personally verified ANY cracks in his manifold as of this date.

If it is cracked, I will send pics to Megan and he will get a new one in 3-5 days. Hopefully he will make sure that all the bolts are in it this time and put his louver back in the hood as not to let the cold rain pour onto his hot manifold.
