Twin scroll T3 manifold *New Pics*

I've been waiting to see if Garrett would release an twin scroll turbine housing and they finally did so I decide to build a manifold to take advantage of it. I still have to figure out if I'm gonna run one or two wastegates, but for the most part it's finished. I'm using a GT3076 on this set up since it's my daily driver and I'm scared of big turbos. Look in the "test mule" catagory. New manifold pics are the last ones.

Wow! That looks real nice. Do you have any mani's for the stock turbo that I could test for you on a IX?

Not to be too off topic, I'm still not 100% sold on twin scroll design. I understand the theory and practice, but it seems like a bottle neck in comparison to a t3 housing/flange. I don't have any data to back this theory up, but on the smaller turbos, I prefer to get as much air flow as I can! (I can see this technology being applicable to small displacement with large turbos. )

^Look at GT42's, they work....

If your using a small turbo your not using it for peak power, your using it for its response and low end power which is all concerned with spool time and such, which is where I believe the twin scroll design works.

Very nice work, I also like the cold air setup through the headlight.

Yes. His name is Walker. One of the best Fabricator I know.
I think this setup with GT30R will be a killer Street ride.

I would imagine so, but just wanted to be sure. I guess the more appropriate questions would be how much is it and who do I call to buy one?

Walker fabbed my entire custom GT35R kit, from the intake to the IC piping, the entire turbo and WG assembly through the exhaust system. We discussed exactly what we wanted to do and how to make everything work as efficiently as possible, and he took our ideas and made them into reality:

What numbers did our car put down on 93 and meth and 93 alone if you dont mind me asking. The usual boost/a/f/dyno question too, hehe.

I don't have the charts in front of me, but on straight 93 at ~22 psi, I made 397 whp on a Dyno Dynamics, which is ~456 whp on a Dynojet.

We activated the methanol and turned up the boost, but only got to ~25 psi before the clutch gave way. That worked out to 430 whp on the Dyno Dymanics, which is ~495 whp on a Dynojet.

I'll scan the charts later, which I should have done some time ago.
