That is an engine dyno, so the numbers are incomparable, especially given the different loading characteristics as evident by the boost curve. On a Dynojet, my estimation shows that to be ~low 500s, but again, take that with a grain of salt, and I mean a tiny grain.

10% Larger engine, larger turbo.

99 RON = ~95 U.S. octane

The only way one can determine how that particular 2.2L setup stacks up is to take it to the track and compare trap speeds - assuming of course any given car of interested hasn't shed 500lb weight, etc.

99uk optimax is more like 93-94 u.s. octane. Yeah that numbers seemed too good too be true. But the owner said that the car dyno should be similar, guess we'll see when he puts it on the rollers.

It's a reasonable risk to take and quite a few cars are over the 500hp power level (Stock bottom end) including mine that has been raced in over a standing mile with no issues.

Sean

But for how long?

i'm shooting for ~500 AWHP on my AMS 50 Trim once it gets tuned with Methanol, AEM, 1000cc injectors and other supporting mods....

I wonder how much of a difference the extra 40 AWHP makes?

Sean

what do you mean raced in over a standing mile? like going out on the highway and racing from a roll for 1 whole mile?

AMS recommended a M10 nozzle, so that's what I went with. In playing with it so far, results look good.
