That's probably a lot closer to what I'll initially run. I think this turbo will make that power at like 25lbs of boost so I don't think that's going to be the issue.

Gaijin(Reid),

I saw big changes on your car since last Time I saw it at the Nopi nationals. I particulary like the rims and the decals, I think the rims with the red line matches very well with the decals.

As far is the turbo... well, what can I say, you are simply nuts. You don't settle with a 500whp, that is not enough for you ..LOL .. . I think you car is going to set a bench mark not just regionally but also at national levels.

I have no doubt you will make more power than Topnotchevo.

As far is my prediction, I think a 10 sec car is very obtainable, a 9 sec car you would have to work extra hard on the launching due to the size of the turbo and also remember we have the handicap of the altitude and hot air.

Can't wait to see your car dyno and running good, you put a lot of effort and money on that car and is about time to get rewarded.

Good luck Reid.

Carlos

Is there a brace welded anywhere onto the manifold to help support the weight of that massive top-mount turbo? If not, are you all worried that the weight from the turbo will put a lot of stress on the manifold and increase its probability of failure or cracking?

Hey bro, just saw this post. Been up in Colorado for a week trying to escape the heat. Thanks for the comment and yeah, I can't wait for them to get ahold of your Supra either.

no brace. I was initially a little worried about that too after my Apex-i manifold cracked three times, but after talking to Jesse and Andy about it I'm not worried at all. They have never had a manifold crack.

Thanks again Carlos. I don't know if I can drive the car to 9s, but I'm sure the car will be capable of it. I've had many offers to help with the driving and I think I have somebody that can get the car there.
