Is this normal after TBE install ?????

I just got finished installing a Turbo XS TBE (3 inch DP with stock CAT) on my 05 Evo. The two tie bar for the subframe does not fit back in due to DP. Is this normal? What I am trying to ask is will there be any problems if they are not placed back on. I know most of you have TBE and I was wondering if you were able to put those tie bars back on.

Just making sure so I do not damage anything . Thanks

You can get some spacers for the tie bars.

or use a stack of washers, spacers are nicer though.

Take one of the bolts to the nearest hardware store. If you can't find a spacer, buy a bunch of washers.

The TurboXS TBE comes with like 6-8 spacers of varying thickness. Least mine did.

Laf, you got the hardware then didn't use it? Funny stuff. You should have spacers AND longer bolts, because the stock bolts aren't long enough if you use a thick enough spacer.

Btw, it's not a TBE if you have the stock cat. A TBE is the entire exhaust from o2 housing back...just FYI.

You can get the Cusco V1 and V2 lower arm bars that fit with aftermarket downpipes and add more support than the stock bars provide.

Thanks guys.....And Warr.....I no absolutely nothing about cars....more medically minded. I am attempting to learn......School takes up 95% of my money..the rest goes to living expenses and gas. You dont know how long I had to save to get the freaking exhaust. I guess it will be baby steps for me...but soon
