Air Research compressor maps
Air Research compressor maps
I am desperatly trying to find a compressor map for an air research turbo that i have laying in my garage. its a .70A/R but i cant remember the rest of the specs off hand but regardless of that i cant find a single compressor map for ANY Air Research turbo, i know they are/were a division of garrett/honeywell but i can't find any information on them. Im hoping its a suitable turbo for my new evo IX but without a compressor map im really just guessing. I will probably end up using it anyway because its free and definatly big enough... I guess if its too big ill just have to use nitrous and methonal to spool it
haha by looking at it (although i havent looked at it in a month) it reminds me of something about gt37 size. although i have a feeling it might be a little bigger than that lol, i have my friend going to get all the numbers/letters off it now so hopefully i will have a little more to go buy incase someone recognizes the turbo.
also if you feel like helping me out some more check out my cam thread in the newbie section, its not a newbie question i just posted it in the wrong spot and cant move it, now no one that knows is looking at it

just had my friend look at it, i guess its bigger than i remember. he said the inner lip of the intake was marked 70 (im assuming 70 trim) and the exhuast was marked 82 (same assumption)
basically:
.70A/R
70mm intake wheel
82mm exhuast wheel
now who thinks i can spool it :P
ps if someone finds a compressor flow map ill be your best friend, im sure its meaningless but the AR was written .70ARM10 below are other numbers found on the castings:
AM4G2
431322-16X
443710-13XF
