Stock clutch & Gear Lockout?

Folks,

I have searched and find mostly ACT issues, so please no flaming LOL...

I have an 06 MR and occassionally find that the car does not want to be shifted quickly (when warm, I don't drive the car hard when cold). I never have a lockout problem when shifting slowly and letting the syncros do their thing. Is this a known clutch issue? I am not grinding gears, but the tranny is just letting me know that it does not want to go into gear ...It is frustrating because it usually happens at the most inconvenient times (when really driving hard) and can be a major disappointment.

Yes I know how to shift, yes it has happened when matching engine / trans revs, no the tranny is not cold

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it is a problem and an engine damper or front motor mount will help. These are not fool proof and you still have have issues but they help alot. There is a considerable amount of noise you have to deal with by installing either one but they help with the shifting.

I have a Stillway ED and it definately helps. I only run it when I am at the track since it makes soooo much noise.

+2 on the clutch pedal adjustment.

When I had a 03, I had gear lock out occasionally but after adjusting the pedal it never happened again.

On the evo9 I have right now, I adjusted the clutch pedal the second day I had it because the engagment was too close to the floor.
I have zero gear lock out issues and shifts great.
