A/F guage in AFR??

Is there an AFR out there that has a built in A/F guage? Kind of like the EBC has a built in boost guage. I'm trying to keep my cabin as clean as possible without a bunch of stand out guages. 1/4 din units are easier to hide and look stealth inside with.

Although I don't know of any specific AFC product, you can "Monitor" sensor (and in turn, monitor the O2 voltage) voltage using the Apex'i S-AFC products, but it requires a creative use of a spare sensor lead. I have seen 2 products that come close to what your looking for from a stealthy point of view.. http://gadgetseller.com/gauges/ this company sells a digital A/F voltage gauge, it works with narrow and wideband O2 sensors.. I had mounted one in place of the digital clock on my car, but I have since removed it, for no other reason than I wanted to keep all of my stock accessories working. Another product is more of a "idiot light" style gauge, and its also good for tuning, its made by a company www.dawesdevices.com Both products are very good, but I found the latter to suit my needs better when used in conjunction with the S-AFC in monitor mode.. and an OBD-II Data logger to capture O2 sensor voltage etc...

Woa, thanks Malibu. That Dawes Devices one is pretty swift. Very stealthy and small. Just kind of weird using a light system. I'll check around and see if anything else catches my eye. Thanks for the links.

Pivot used to offer a nice one - came with its own display unit (digital) and 02 sensor, though now its an analog version (60mm gauge, like the GReddy).

The one we really like now, and have used is the FJO kit, which we offer for $550.00 (lead time is usually 1 week).

I have found it works remarkable similar to the Horiba wideband I bought myself a few years back to tune the Z with (and its literally 1/4 the price of what I paid for the Horiba!)

I think an EGT gauge its a much better idea since you will get an accurate Mixture reading and you can use it for tunning...all those non-wideband A/F gauges are just pretty much show.

Defi does not offer an Air Fuel guage.

EGT is a good tuning tool, but in and of itself does not tell you at all how rich or lean it is. However, when used in conjunction with a datalogger, it provides very good info, since you can correlate TPS, boost pressure and EGT's together as well as ignition advance (or lack thereof, since OBD2 loggers will not show "knock" as far as I know at least.

The FJO kits we offer are great units - completly integrated wideband moniters.

Although most OBD2 loggers don't log knock (because its not a standard sensor) I recall seeing that there is a Knock sensor reading that can be made within the OBD2 diagnostics.. Therefore if someone has logging software capable of using custom codes, you can set it up to do that.

actually I think Defi have, or had offered an A/F guage, but I could have sworn it was analog...like the GReddy and Pivot units

You can still get the PIVOT with O2 sensor and digital display.
