Benchmark This Settup Vs. The 1/4 Mile Time So Far Achieved

I have a trivia question for all the gurus here. For a 03 Evo VIII with the following mods, which 1/4 quarter mile time has to be consider as the optimun or the finest one.

A 03 Evo VIII (2.0 Liters) with:

1. GT35R, FR Mani (33 lbs of boost and 50 NOS Shot)
2. Ported head, and 264 - 272 cams (revs up to 8,500 max)
3. Magnus Intake
4. AEM
5. 1,000 cc Injector, two pumps
6. ACT Extreme Clutch and Pro Fly Wheel
7. Wiseco Pistons
8. Crower rods
9. HKS DLI
10. Rubber Mounts with arm, and all other thing invented for this car. Tranny, Center Diff, all the bushings, etc.

The car was tuned by Turbo Trix, best 1/4 mile time so far, 11.2, at 127 MPH and 0-60 ft, 1.8. PLease tell me if you think this time is ok or not? What time do I have to expect? off course, assuming that the shifitng is good, or this 11.2 is the normal time for a car with this mods.

If your answer is yes is a good time, please indicate me what else can I do to touch the mid 10 seconds. And if yout question is no, you should run 10 seconds without a problem, please also especified what can be the issue which is affecting the performance of the car.

Tha

i would think 130 to 133 would seem more realistic @ sea level with the nx for sure..
high to mid 10's @ 130's would seem about right

You should be in the 10s, with a better 60ft you would be there. Who's Cams are you running?

I have OEM shocks with Tein S Springs. I used Nitto 555R 235, 45,17. The car has a set of HKS cams, tial wastegate 40mm, Tial BOV. I have the tranny built by TT, but the Rear Diff is OEM and also all the drive shafts. The last time that I hit a 1.6, o-60 ft I broke the rear axles.

But my question is: is impossible to run 10.5 with 33 psi and 50 NX? Because that was the time that I expected in first place.

You should be a ways faster....

My crappy stock motor, stock head, gt35r @ 26psi, completely stock suspension, all season tires, 1.7-1.8 60's are usually 11.10s @ 128-129.

With that boost and a 50 shot you should be around least 100 horses more powerful than mine giving you a trap in the mid to upper 130s. I would guess your lifting while shifting and not shifting all that quick. That combined with a really safe tune and a heavy car.

I agree. I only have a 20g-9-5 and dyno 366awhp on Buschurs MD and go 11.28@124 w/ 1.6x 60's.

You should be trapping much faster.

Your time sounds bout right, the best an 11.0 anyway... you're still driving a full on street car but if you can get a better launch to bring your 60 ft times lower, then you should relatively be in the high 10's... a mid 10 is not easy on a street evo even with a 35R and 50 shot of nos..

I ran a 2.3 stroker on a lighter Evo 6 body running also 50 shot of nos on the same amount of boost and I did a 10.7@135 mph

should be faster....32 psi with a decent tune , flat shifting, full street tires, well setup suspension with no alignment, gt35r (.63 backside), we went 10.5 at 135.5 mph .....even if we changed nothing else i would say with a 50 shot and 3 more psi i should prolly hit 9.8-10.2 at 140 ish mph..... btw we run low 1.6 60fts. btw you need to rev to 9,500 in 1st and 9k 2-4 gears...and get a triple carbon clutch so you can flatshift that helps TONS.
