hey i was loking into buying a turbo kit but thats more money then i have to spend so i was just going to mod my stock turbo until i got out of school and i was just wondering how far i could actually go with the stock turbo

 

You could go to buschur's site and look at that video they have of the blue evo. I think he hit somewhere alittle over 350?

 

Agian people will tell you to use the search botton, try looking up the 10.5 hotside on Buschur site, ported and coated will even make more power. Other than that it depend on your MODS which will be pushing the turbo, cams.. tbe.. mbc.. tune.. lists go on.

 

If you were to have the 03 Evo 8 with the 9.8 hotside this is what you could do:

buy a 10.5 hotside
make your turbo a 20G using existing hosuing
ported and polished job
ceramic coating
bigger o2 housing

well i was just currious cuz i was going to mod everything else like fuel and whatnot untill i had decided on buying a turbo kit so like mayb a year from now i would have evrything build for say a gt35r turbo kit on the stock turbo
