Hey guys i just recently installed an HKS SSQV and it keeps blowing off the intercooler pipe after i drive around for a few minutes. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

Oh and yes i have the c-ring installed right with the tapered side up.

 

At what connection does the pipe blow off?

 

Are you sure the c clamp is seated in the flange properly? Maybe the c clamp is just wore out.

 

Not the pipe the bov itself blows off the pipe.

 

The clamp is brand new. I am gonna have to get another rubber gromet before i can reinstall it cuz when it blew off i lost the gromet.

 

there must be something wrong with yours... i have one and cant imagine it coming off when installed properly. any pics?

 

Yeah it put a dent in my hood and dinged up the bov. Im at work right now and wont be able to post up pics till later.

I used to have one on my 240 and I could'nt imagine that ever coming off eiether.... how is it coming off with the c clip in there? Maybe you can add like JB weld into the little area where the c clip is
