Had compression test done - numbers...
Also looks like leak occurs at higher cyl psi/temps and perhaps some of the escaped pressure found it's way into the wet side (via #3 HG area) and out the path of least resistance - where you see leaking.
You might diagnose this one with a leak down as follow-up to your compression test.
In this case mitsu ows you a head/gasket replace, I think this happened to someone else but it was a PITA for him
Nonetheless, hopefully rings or valves are good cuz overheating will make engine knock up a storm - I found this out with a jeep rental in Aruba.
Crank it for 3-4 pops in the gauge then stop.
