Had a spec stage 3 (6 puck disk) installed, will it get easier to drive?

Had a spec stage 3 (6 puck disk) installed, will it get easier to drive?

I had a spec stage 3 installed on Saturday and it is the harshest clutch I have ever driven. I feel like it is completely unstreetable. How much is the clutch going to break in, how much smoother will it get, and how long will it take for me to adjust.

I can drive the car in traffic, but it is not for the faint of heart. I can get it to be relatively smooth, but only if I concentrate. Thank God I only drive the car on the weekends.

Am I being overly paranoid?

From what I remember reading, I don't think that it's going to get much better.

Hopefully someone that has one can give you a better answer.

The only reason it might get a little better is because you will get more used to it.

I had a 4 puck clutch on my Integra and it was absolutly rediculus, unfortunately they don't get much easier to drive.

i can tell you it won't get easier bro. I love spec products but i really don't like using that disc on an EVO. I just don't like it for the trans. If i were you i would pick up their stage 3+ disc. You'll like it much better.

best of luck to you.

Update (for anyone who's interested). After 300 miles, I got the hang of it. Other than going in reverse, I absolutely love the clutch. It isn't the easiest clutch to drive in stop/go traffic, but it can be done smoothly and it grabs alot harder and faster than the stocker. I'd recommend it to anyone.
