Oh SNAP!!!
Daniel and Steve busted but putting a new 4th gear and clutch in my RS. Clutch was slipping 4th was grinding. Quick Bushwacker trans rebuild and it is shifting like glass.
Anyway, Trent and I took off for Norwalk Raceway about 4:30 to beat the crowd there. Drove my 2004 RS out there.
It was amazing. Trent drove the freaking wheels off the car.
Running the car just like I drive it EVERYDAY on the Yokahama Neova tires he the car ran 5 passes. The first one Trent bogged it getting use to it, ran 11.33 at 134 mph. He came back and said it's going 10.30's! I said I hope so, I'd like to make the top 10 list.
Next pass was a 10.31 at 137, then a 10.25 at 138, then a 10.17 at 139.8 and finished it off with a 10.22 at 139.07.
So there you have it, this car is one bad dude.
The car has our off the shelf GT35R turbo kit on it. This is the cast manifold, FP housing turbo kit we sell everyday.
The 60' time on the 10.17 pass was 1.72!! Needless to say this car has a 9 second pass in it. I bought a set of drag radials a few weeks ago, we might go back out Friday night to see if it will do it then.
Right now the car is running low boost, 33 psi through the traps. I dyno'd it at 38 psi but noticed the duty cycle on the injectors was maxed out. I then backed it down to make sure nothing happened to it. I am at the max right now. I have a few tricks up my sleeve and will be making a change to try and fix it. The car is on 1200 cc injectors.
I would say this is proof you don't need a fancy header and a 3" 02 housing to run fast on a GT35R kit. You also don't need to spend more than $2995 for the kit, as that is what this one costs.
It's going to be hard for me to go back to the 20G-9-5 now!!

nice times.
But just last week, you were telling the evoM community that you parked your rs and started driving the truck to work because you hated the laggyness on the street with the 35r. You were saying how awesome the car is with this new 20g. Now your saying how awesome the 35r is and how it is going to be hard to go back to the small turbo.

At the dragstrip, the 35r over 30psi would be a blast........
Well I hope to find out someday

So yes you are right, i am sure he was referring to how laggy the 35r is compared to the 20g. He referenced it so much that he stopped driving it. Now all of a sudden the 35r is amazing.
I am not trying to mouth here, i have supported Buschur since before evo's. Also every single part on my car has came from buschur racing. I just think its funny, the drastic change of opinion

. Heck I'll fill her up
