I gained about 40 whp at 1 psi less boost, but I am sure that is all due to switching from the 3076 to the 35. I really like the Buschur kit and it worked great. If I can get some time, I may put it back on with a different turbo.
My thoughts
Hafe Mani and O2
+ cast mani
+ cast O2
+ allows you to dump to atmosphere or recirculate
+ allows stock fan
- fit takes some work
- questionable performance (though I'm very happy with mine)
Buschur Kit
+ Proven performance
+ cast mani
+ fit is perferct
+ looks stock
+ Mitsu flange - literally 100s of tested and pruven DSM turbos can now fit our EVO
- not equal length
- not T3, so can't bolt on basic Garretts
- only dump to atmosphere
- new fan required
Later this spring or early summer, I'll be able to compare the Hafe set up to some of the other kits on the market. I need to finish the tune and then take it to the local shop that has dynoed a bunch of different kits. Unfortunately, I spend about 25 days a month out of the country and just don't have much time right now.

What did it put down last time you dynoed it? I am going to have mine tuned the 5th of may, heres the build.

I run the SBR 30R kit with the 44 mm external dump all in all i am happy with it .
I had zero issues with fitment although i did buy it second hand from Mark Seich himself who had developed the kit and had it on his mr first
I made 420whp 337 lb. ft. with Dave Buschur tuning my aem on his mustang dyno
That was at 25psi with 104 octane in the tank on my pump gas map
On pump gas 93 octane it made 380whp and 307lb.ft. on Buschur mustang dyno.
I soon hope to drop in the BF 272 cams with supertech valvetrain and then get a C16 map from Dave Buschur
I have had zero surge issue's at all
1/4 mile performance as of last year only got it to the track 1 day before they closed for winter was an 11.6 @ 122mph . there is room for improvement

I am at 415 whp on my G Tech, which measures almost indentical to the local heart breaker Mustang dyno. The tune is very preliminary and it is on 25 - 26 psi with E85. Typically, the G Tech and Mustang are within a few percent and to give you an idea of the dyno, 300 whp will get you 11s. I ran an 11.89 at 119 with 315 whp and not very good driving.
