Evo IX with 1300 miles on it. Bone stock on stock boost 21psi, 93 octane!

Base run was 253whp/258wtq and boost was lower than stock 18psi.

After about an hour on the dyno, boost was raised back up to what it should have been from the factory 21psi and tuned.

Final numbers were 294whp/298wtq with only flash, stock exhaust, intake, filter, etc...

Are other Evo IX owners getting similar numbers with just flash?

Nice. I gained ~65whp/70ftlbs with just exhaust and flash so that sound about right. 93/94 octane also.

 

Stock boost is around 20-21 psi so, it's set to be around stock boost now.

What are other Evo IX owners getting for boost bone stock?

IX boosts to 1.4 bar stock or 20.3 pounds.

 

Is it just me or are those base numbers fairly high?

My car did 253whp/258wtq for base run. I've seen a stock IX do 265whp before, and run on average 250-260whp.

It was on a dynojet.

 

I think my car is up there with u i mean i trap 109 with just a mbc and flash set at 22 and i have 93 octane so im guessing im at close to 300 dynojet

 

You are running ABOUT stock boost, but i'm sure it's not tapering like STOCK boost. Big difference up top.

People are getting 330-350 whp w/ minor mods (exhaust, drop-in, mbc) on the IX's.

 

Next mods are 3 inch turboback, k&n drop in, mbc, walbro, and meth kit. With those mods, ($1200+-), I'm shooting for 400whp.

 

wow, I thought that most IX's were dynoing somewhere around 230-240 stock. I think it really depends on the dyno tho.

 

Those numbers seem normal. With a flash and mbc, I did 300whp/310wtq on a dynojet.

 

The actual numbers aren't what surprises me, its what a jump just the dynoflash makes.

That is impressive...That is almost as much as my VIII made with a TBE and a tune. But my car ran on 91 pistane CA gas with 22 psi of boost.
