AMS 2.3L + RnR GT30R results

22psi on 91oct and 26psi on 110 oct
had to stop there since I need to move on to bigger stuff like bigger throttle body due to the 2.3 (tuner said this)
and here is the dynosheet.
it was tuned by Alfred from Tuning Technologies using ECUFlash..
let me know what do you guys think..
car spools just like stock turbo, or even better

Looks like a nice useable powerband. Do you have cams?

Throttlebody and intake manifold and such are not restricting you yet, you still have a lot of power left on the plate at those levels. What hotside are you running and what manifold of RNR's are you using?

Why did you put that turbo kit on a good motor? I guess you didn't want to make power...

Nice graph btw

I have 264/272 HKS cams..
I want it to be a quick daily driver with the least lag possible..
I could have gone with the 35R but that would be too laggy for my everyday use.
I have the equal length manifold..

I see that you have the same setup as I do, how much boost are you running max? how much power did you make?

Ecutek, yes on C16, however at 25 PSI on C16 I made 475 475, so your not missing out on too much from the lack of octane, maybe another 20 whp at most.

Btw hate to be a pessimist again, I like to brag about my spool numbers but neither of us are close to a stock turbo
Below is an example of a maxed out stock turbo on TopSpeeds dyno.

What's wrong w/ that turbokit; I personally have one and it fits great. Do you have any experience w/ them or are you talking out of your ace?

With that said the numbers seem to be a little lower than the norm, what is your complete modlist?

^ He is talking about every result that a RNR kit has put down on these boards vs the like of say a TTRIX, Full Race, AMS, or Buschur kit. You don't have to have any personal experience with something to know that it has the reputation of putting out low or abnormal numbers.

What sort of power did your RNR BB 50 Trim put down? I've seen a couple out of TT and AMS's stable that put out 500+ on race gas and low-mid 400's on pump, did your RNR kit perform like that?

I'll let you know once I'm tuned, I have also seen members put out over 500whp w/ RNR turbokits so what's your point. It usually comes down to the setup, combination of parts, and condition of the motor.

Show me a RNR 3076 or 50 trim that made 500whp, thats my point.

Yes a lot comes down to the setup, but when lots of cars share one particular component (turbokit) and produce lower than normal numbers, I find that odd or interesting.
