I kinda over torqued 2 bolts on my valve cover near the spark plugs and now it leaks oil. How can I fix that?

New gasket, sound like you might have killed the one on there.

NO I heard a crack. My friend did the same and put gasket maker in the threads and it hasn'e leaks since. I was going to do that but seeing if anyone had a better option.

We have JB welded a few dsm valve covers with some success. Not sure about the evo's since its made of mg. Or buy a new valve cover.

I would try Jb-Weld, it will bond to almost anything. Just make sure it's fully cured before you use the valvecover.

Every 10,000 miles snug the valve cover bolts to avoid leaks. I use a screwdriver handle driver on a 10 mm socket and one handing it gives about the right torque. Too much tightening and you break the cover. It needs to be just snug.

After doing this three times the gasket will be completely compressed and leaking after that will require a new gasket.

Do you think you cracked the valve cover or ripped the threads out of the head?

Sometimes when a bolt strips threads it will make a crack noise as well. If it is the threads you can get a helicoil for those threads you pulled out.
