I just took up the intake. I check the c.wheel and its in perfect shape, no dents chips or anything like that. I even turned the car and it was spining. It is definitely a bad boost leak. Now im only getting 10 psi and it still screams loud.

Thanks Carlos, ill keep that in mind.....

If you switched the upper and lower ic pipes and intake, that will make much more noise than before...I would do a boost leak just to be sure though.

Now what you mean by high pitch? Like someone whistling? or a little girl screaming?

Loud whistling or whining sound as soon as it starts spooling, and it feels so slow.I'm only probably getting 16-18 psi max on 3rd gear.My boost before was 21 psi with my old turbo. I haven't change the boost from before. Now with this evo 9 turbo I also added a new wastegate actuator which holds 18 psi min. Do I have to adjust the boost now back to 21 psi? or should I just wait until I find the leak?

three evo's here had the exact same problem and both found the same solution. While putting the lower pipe on they didn't tighten the turbo outlet pipe right. all three evo's either siliconed or clamped down on it really good and got the leak fixed.

I'd like to know the same, I'm thinking about getting the WR but I was reading a good writeup about the ATP GT30 kit and it sounds like you can get a good amount of power on pump out of that kit. What kind of numbers are you projecting?

Man i found one problem! sickleywicked is right my licp to my turbo outlet pipe was loose. I blame myself for that, since I was too lazy to take out the starter. Now everything is tight and ready to be tested tomorrow. Either way we are still doing a boost leak test friday before we tune it.Ill keep you guys posted.
