man. Its really hard to compare power because this is a buschur kit and they are for the most part dyno'd on his low reading dyno. Whereas the 50trim kits are dynoed at AMS and TT which both tend to read quite a bit higher than buschur's.

So lets talk track times.

I'm not really impressed with 50trim track times from what ive seen i think the highest trap ive seen is 126. Whereas i belive some 3065's are low 130's.

the 3065 will walk away from a 50trim on meth/alky or racegas. I am having my motor built right now. And i'm going to get the BR kit. I'm going to run it on stock ecu at first so no big numbers... After i put the autronics back in (after winter) i'll turn it up to 35psi or so. Post some mid 130traps like the dsmrs are on this turbo. This turbo is anything short of amazing making 23psi by 4500 on a 2L

Also i've read of 2 people using the 3065 suck the honeycombs out of the maf! now thats badass.. I havent herd of any 50trims doing that yet.

Well from what ive seen it was on 30psi and it doesn't really suck it into the turbo it more or less deforms the honeycomb. The people used toothpicks to straiten the honeycombs out enough to drive home from the track from what i saw. But yeah it ran like *** afterthat untill a new map. So i think i'll keep the boost to a mere 26-27psi untill i get the standalone back in

I have heard of this happing before that’s why I was going to run an AEM or MAF Translator with GM MAF. That would really suck to have that happen.

I have two questions.

In this kit is the turbine side the 7cm or 8cm housing?

Can you get the wastegate routed back into the o2 housing?

thank you
Jeremy
Its neither a 7cm or a 8cm its a custom made steel housing made by FP with external gate mounting built in. I beleive its some weird A/R thats not a standard number but was built for the GT30 series of turbine wheels.

The FP3065 housing is made that way because it actually set up to run with DSM so that’s why asked if it was a 7 or 8cm. Check the site on link.

All you need is a piece to go from the 90 degree elbow from the turbo outlet to the side of the fmic. Just ask Buschur to add the licp solution to your kit hen you order it and you will be set. Its a 2.5" pipe that goes from the 90 degree elbow to the side of the fmic. I believe that it is 270 with the couplers....

I have a thread of mine somewhere on here, but the damage occured at only 27psi. I have a different MAF in there right now and it seems to be holding up fine although I haven't checked it in a while.

I do have a blowthrough set-up sitting on my floor waiting to go on but am still waiting on a MAF and a small battery. If you are looking for a MAF translator give TTP a ring, thats where I got mine from. And like usual it will be Jestr tuned.
