10-12whp increase on a $100 part is not "measly." People spend $400 on shiny intakes and UICPs. A "shiny" stainless steel o2 housing costs way less and makes more power without making a lot of noise. However, it is NOT easy to install just because you're installing a TBE. There is no correlation. When I sheared a DP bolt off while trying to replace my Megan with a BR TBE, I had to remove the radiator to get the o2 housing off. It's a really easy thing to take on and off except for the fact that you can't get to all the bolts/studs without removing some things.
